Art to Enrich Your Life
Last Sunday, my husband and I have been celebrating our 38th anniversary > Memories. Sweet, sweet memories (if you want to see some pics of our wedding).
This year we didn’t plan anything at all. But then we heard of a concert aperitif being held before lunch at a small concert hall at the shore of Lake Lugano – 8 members of the Swiss Italian Orchestra playing Vivaldi and Telemann.
It was one of those happy coincidences that while I was searching the Internet for information about a specific project, I came across this quote by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright:

As I kept going with my (new…) research, I came across The Shibumi Seven – 7 Design & Creative Principles Inspired by Zen:
Waiting for Yaris is my donation for the SAQA Benefit Auction this year.
Many wonderful little art quilts are donated each year – the auction raises money for its many endeavors. For the 2012 auction, 394 artworks were donated and SAQA raised $67,450!
If you are asking yourself what my title means – just stay tuned
.
Some pics from the Lake Geneva region. Enjoy!

Right now, these fabrics are on my design wall. They are the starting point for a new project.
Yes, also the lips
. I printed them on fabric.
